Chapter 6.2 : Promotional Video = Success or Failure?
As mentioned before, I had to post my promotional video as a requirement for submission. I also thought of using this as an opportunity to promote myself and the Degree show to other people. Therefore I posted them in a few social media and the response was not I expected it to be.
FACEBOOK
Facebook was the first social media that I uploaded the video into. The response were really good! People gave good comments and would congratulate me as Im reaching towards my finals. Some people also claimed that the video makes them eager into wanting to play the game. The video received likes and were shared 7 times. It only received 272 views, which was good enough for me actually.
Unfortunately I can't display the picture here as Blogger won't allow me to display it. No matter I will attach a link below for people to refer :).

WHATSAPP
Whatsapp was more private as I only send the link to the groups I'm in as well as forwarding it to my contacts. It didn't receive much feedback however it did kept people notified on the event.
TWITTER
Twitter by far received the most feedback for me. It was really well received by people with over 100 retweets and favourites and is still ongoing! Strangers would comment there and really acknowledge my game as no other game approached traditional folktales before. They would also ask me questions on what softwares I used, tutorials session, etc. Oh and most of them are actually graphic designers from other universities. It's a really great way for me to promote as well as getting to know more people :D.
I also emailed to a few people I have met through the GEC 2017 even that was held last year. I participated in a Lab to discuss on the topics with them. I thought I sent them an email and invited them over to our Degree Show :).
Overall my promotional video was positively well received by the public. It did a really great job in promoting my game and I am really proud of it. Was the promotional video success? Heck yeah it was :D
