Chapter 5.0: Introducing Unity3D

Happy New Years!

For this post, I'm just gonna brief introduce on the game software that I'm using. to create my project.

Unity is a cross-platform game engine developed by Unity Technologies, which is primarily used to develop both three-dimensional and two-dimensional video games and simulations for computers, consoles, and mobile devices.

Most of the 2D games, whether its a console or an app game, comes from Unity because the software supports 2D graphics with the aid of the C# scripting. Another reason why I chose this software is because the community is huge and with the new 2017.2 update, it features a lot of plugins to help me in creating the project. I will talk on that in another post.

The software also has a huge forum where it allow people to share tutorials or ask questions to a few experts regarding the software. This is also the main reason why I chose this software as I need guidance and support throughout developing the game later on.

I will be posting on the process in the later posts. Below are a few games that I want to share that were developed using Unity :

Oh and Happy New Years again guys!
