Chapter 3.8: Sprite Animation in Piskel

This post will be a bit short because I just want to share on how I check the animation of my sprites through Piskel. In a later post there will be one talking on animation but it'll be more detailed as I am doing it in Unity3D.

Now I mentioned before that Piskel has a function that allows us to create our own animation using the sprites we created or import it into the software. I can also adjust the frame speed as well as separating them into different frames to make it move smoothly. For this I'll be showing the flowers animation.

The flowers sprite sheet is only around 3-4 sprites. However to make it longer I would just repeat frame 2,3 into frame 4,5 and the animation will go into a loop rather than a sudden stop.

I did this to other my other animations as well just to check the movement of the sprites as well as to see if there's any changes needed to the sprites. I can export it into GIF format however it takes a lot of time for it to be exported.
